gab with chicken
So we went to the store to get some food, chicken was one item. On our way home I forgot one thing and had to go to another store. I told gab take the cicken up and clean it so that it could dry by the time I came back. When I arrived Gab was a bit frustrated with me and ungrateful. Look what she found tucked under the body. Don't worry she said a pray before the beheading!

This is the cutest picture. Good thing it wasn't alive or you would have gone hungry! What a good sport Gab! -Mom
Hi gise,
Reb here. Couldn't help but laugh when I saw this picture. It reminded me of the time on the boat when we were in Belize and I just had to tell about it. We (Mom, Dad, Bill, Tony, Mart and I) took a trip into the jungle for a few days. There was a small village nearby while we borrowed a sort of cabin. We had asked if we could buy a chicken for dinner. "Sure, come by around sunset!" they answered. Well that was because the chickens came in to roost at sunset... So we had to chase the chicken around the yard for ages until we caught it! We (Bill & Tony) had to kill it and since no one wanted to pluck it, we just skinned the whole thing. There wasn't much left of it after that and it was the toughest old hen we ever ate! But it was good for a laugh!
Otherwise I'm thrilled that your 6 year-old passed her test! I knew you could do it. Keep up the good work and don't let them cheat you out of you due pay! :)
I haven't had much time to catch up on your blog lately, but this morning I had some time to read a bit. Sounds like you gise are having a great time and learning lots about life, love and living in a new country. Ryan, be sure and let us know how the job searching goes.
Love you gise and we're already looking forward to Christmas 2005!
hugs, Reb
